Due to drought, feed prices and various other circumstances we have decided to sell Smoky this year.  He has some very solid names in his five generation pedigree and has been a valuable addition to our grulla herd.  He stands at 15.1 hh with a star on his forehead and some white on his left front foot.  The majority of the colts he has thrown are grullas with the odd dun and brown in there for good measure.  On the foals we have had from him, there has been very little white, if any.  He is not a mean stud and seems to respect his mares quite well.  He usually spends his winter in a field with the stud colts and has done just fine with them.

Smoky has been tested for coat color and is:
E/E  No red factor.
a/a   Agouti recessive, black pigment distributed uniformly.

Tiger has shown a very nice mind in his halter breaking.  His dam is also the dam of Sassey Oteo Go or "Dunny" as well as Smoken Buckaroo.  Dunny was six when he was started and has turned into a top cow horse.  Smoken Buckaroo had his first ride the day before he was castrated and was just a dream to work with.  Every foal from this mare has show a real  inner urge to be friendly and has been really nice to work with.  The mare herself is just making the transition over to being a kids horse.

Here he is stepping out well on the lead.He has always enjoyed a pet. This is the first touch since last fall and he is showing that he wasn't handled all winter.Here Silver is now leaning in for a little more of a pet. This is very typical of his temperment.
