We've been raising Norwegian Fjords for over fifteen years now. We've really enjoyed using them too! They are such nice tempered little horses and very willing workers. Their compact body is not too difficult to harness but carries a dynamo of power. They are strong little horses! We use a team of Fjords every winter for feeding grain to our background calves every day and on certain years, hauling grain to the cows as well. Besides that we have been restoring old farm equipment and have been hooking our Fjords to some of that too. If you're looking for a team that is strong and ready to work but easy keeping, this is the breed. They can get fat by eating straw!
